I love this cute digi stamp from Digistamp boutique. He's called Harold and looks so friendly. I don't usually use such colourful papers but think they go well. I'm entering it into Crafty Catz which is Let's go Digital, and Polkadoodles which is boy's birthday.

Let them eat cake!
Hi,
Daisy is in kindy today, so I took the time to have a play. Allsorts have the theme embossing. I don't have a machine that embosses, unfortunately, so I have used some ready embossed card. The image is one of my new stamps from Kraftin Kimmie called Marie Antoinette. I also used a french script stamp from SU to clear emboss behind the image and then used distress inks to create the background.

3rd time lucky!
Hi all,
I made this card yesterday, took a photo and then realised I had missed part of the sketch, so added the missing bit, took a photo and realised again I had missed another part off (I wasn't very observant, obviously). So, I added the extra bit today and hopefully I now have it all! This is for the C.R.A.F.T challenge which is a sketch.
The paper is K and Co and the image is Sarah Kay.

Sketch
Hi, Daisy has been in kindy all day, so after grocery shopping and doing a few jobs, I had time to make a couple of cards. This one uses some K and Co papers I bought ages ago and haven't really used, but I quite like the effect. The image is from a RAK so I don't know where it is from - I must ask. I've used a great sketch from allsorts which is quite deceiving as it looks simple but took me ages to line up all the squares.

Which one is Peter?
Hi, I've been on a bit of a mad card making week, just in the mood I guess. Over at polkadoodles, the theme is nursery rhymes. I was a bit stuck until it came to me while I was browsing the Not for Girls polkadoodles CD. Daisy loves the rhyme 'Two little dickie birds' and sings it quite a lot, so this is what I based the card on. The bricks and cool birdies are from the CD and I tore a range of blue and green paper to make the background.

Superdad!
I've made this card for Daisy to give to hubby for Fathers' day, although she will also make one herself as she loves crafting (she's 3). The image is from Charmed cards and crafts and I thought it was appropriate as she is a real Daddy's girl and thinks hubby is definitely a superhero. The paper is from Polkadoodles Not for girls CD. I kept this simple and bright.
I want to enter it into the following challenges: Crafty cardmakers-cards for men, Cupcake craft -one for the boys, C.R.A.F.T -Fathers' day/ men's card and creative craft challenges -for the man in your life.

Distressed
The flood has now been sorted and the pipes in the bathroom have been unblocked. My lovely hubby has spent ages disinfecting the bathroom and it is now all sparkly again.
Over at allsorts the theme is lace and/or buttons. I bought some gorgeous lace flowers a couple of months ago and thought this would be a perfect time to use one. I experimented a bit with distressing this card as I thought it went well with the lace.

Hello again!
Hi again. I know, two posts in one day, it's unheard of! It's 9pm here and we have a plumber in as we have flooding in the bathroom. Why does it happen on a weekend when the callout charges are so high? There's a lot of banging and noise happening, so hopefully it can be fixed soon.
I've decided to find a few other challenge blogs to take part in, so over at stampin' for the weekend, the theme is summer/travel. It's winter over here, so I had to get my summer head on. I've used a sweet digi stamp from Charmed cards and crafts and some bright summery paper. I am also entering this in the Mami Doodles challenge, whose theme is summer and Fab n funky, who have a summery picture for inspiration.

Dazzling!
I was babysitting last night, so took the opportunity to colour in some images ready to make into cards. When Daisy was helping her Daddy make a stand for a moses basket we have been lent, I made a couple of cards. I'm crafting while I can as it's 4 weeks before Babybee is due and I probably won't have an awful lot of time then. Over on cupcake crafts, the theme is Dazzle us, so I went a bit mad with glitter and gems on this card. I used a sweet image I was given in a RAK, so I don't know who makes it. I also glittered the flowers for a bit more sparkle.

Flowers for you
Hi, well this is amazing. I have managed to do a bit of crafting in the week and actually post it on here! While browsing some of your wonderful blogs, I came across One Stop Craft Challenge and thought I would have a go. The theme is make your own DP. I used glimmer mist to create the background and then stamped a corner flower stamp in Victorian Velvet distress ink. I have admired the pins that many people use on their cards, so I made my own from my jewellery stash.

Yum!
Over at allsorts the theme is strawberries and cream and there is a mouthwatering picture to give inspiration. I have used the colours from the picture and used a fab Sarah Kay stamp.
Daisy has been at kindy all day, so I decided to do a bit of crafting. It was good to finally have a play and see what happens. I also had an interview for a tutor position. I'm hoping to start in September as babybee will be nearly a couple of months old by then (if it arrives on time) and I can choose the times to suit me. After nearly a year out of teaching, I'm missing the interaction with children and the chance to make a difference to someone.

A card for two challenges
I've been a bit of a bad blogger lately. Sorry, but life has got in the way a bit. Also, I've not been in the mood for crafting (awful I know) and had a bit of a confidence crisis. Anyway, I have decided to get back into things and make a card for two challenges. Allsorts are asking for black, white and 1 other colour. I chose red. Over at Sir Stampalot the challenge is punch it. There's a fab prize of a big stash of punches on offer. So, I grabbed the few punches I have - a border one from SU, two scalloped circles and three flower punches and had a play. The stamp is a Tilda I bought a while ago, but don't use very much.
