Climb every mountain

 Hi all,
The sound of music had it's last night on Saturday, where we had a standing ovation!  The main characters were all fantastic and did so well to be so energetic for 8 performances.  I now have a bit of a sore throat, so I won't be doing too much talking for a while, although I have two day's supply teaching today and tomorrow and might need my voice for that.
Over at Incy Wincy this week, we are sponsored by:

Our theme is vintage.  Usually, when I do vintage, it's in browns, so I decided to get away from this and use pink instead.  The image is a stamp by Wild Rose Studio called In the Meadow, and it is sold in the Care2Stamp shop.  I have distressed the edges of the paper with Victorian Velvet.  The postcard was given to me ages ago.  I bought some frames a while ago and didn't realise they were so small and couldn't think what to do with them.  I thought I could ink them and use it to frame the sentiment.  The inked trim is from an old skirt I had that was too tatty to go to a charity shop.
See you tomorrow.

Our fine four fendered friend!

Hi all,
I hope you had a lovely weekend. We went down to Manchester to visit hubby's brother and family as it was our niece's 7th birthday party. The girls had a fab time with their cousins and didn't want to come home yesterday. I have my first supply teaching job tomorrow, so I will be getting some planning done later today. I am nervous as this will be my first time in a classroom for 2 years. Tutoring was fun, but one child at a time is not as scary as 30 in one go! I'm sure I'll soon feel like I have never been away, though.
Over at Incy Wincy this week, we are sponsored by
and our theme is vintage. I have used a wonderful image by Stamping Dragon Designs called Dodge Tourer. I gave this card to my Dad for his birthday on 20th December. The papers are by Floppy Latte and I distressed the edges with vintage photo distress ink. Please check out the rest of the creations from the DT

Not too distressed

Hi all,

Well, the girls had a lovely last day in kindy. Daisy made cards for her teachers. In the rush I forgot to take photos of them, but they loved them. Daisy and Martha both came home with big cards with photos of their friends on. I think we will have to frame them when we get back to England.

It's time for another Creative Craft challenge. Our theme is distressed/vintage. I don't usually do vintage as I find it difficult, but I thought I would have a bit of both themes in my card. I distressed the edges of the card and paper and used a doily. I have seen them on many wonderful cards and thought I would try. Check out the creations from the rest of the fab DT.
