Where has the time gone?

Hi all,
Have you missed me?  I'm so sorry it has been ages since I last posted.  The musical went very well, but I was shattered as I was out from 6 pm until midnight every night that week.  Then, when I thought things were getting back to normal, Martha had a very high temperature that wouldn't go down and then she developed a bright red pin prick rash, so we took her to hospital as it was a weekend and we were quite worried.  After some tests, she was sent home with a lot of medicine and we were told she had a virus.  It took a whole week for her temperature to come down and she was very clingy, so I couldn't do any crafting even though we were at home.  Things are getting back to normal now, so hopefully I will be able to get back to crafting and doing things for my DT's.  I should be able to come and visit all your wonderful blogs soon, too.
Over at Incy Wincy, our theme is to use pastel colours and I have used an image called Violet Vintage by our sponsor, Saturated Canary and the papers are Wisteria by Basic Grey.
See you later.

F is for finally being on time!

Hi all,
I hope you had a lovely weekend.  Thank you for the lovely messages yesterday.  My cold is still lingering, but I do feel a bit more like me.  The rehearsal didn't finish until 11.30 last night so I was late getting home and am quite glad I don't have work today.  I have done a bit of housework and have finally managed to post a DT card on time.  We have our last dress rehearsal tonight and then the show starts tomorrow.  Aaagh!
Over at Incy Wincy, our theme is F is for....  We are sponsored by Dilly Beans and I have used this fabulous image called Daisy girl framed.  I have gone for F is for flowers and have used a daisy border by K and co that I have had for years and finally got around to using it.
See you later.

Me again!

Hi all,
Sorry for my absence again.  I have had the lurgy and just haven't felt like doing much when I had a chance to sit down, which wasn't a lot as I had rehearsals four nights last week and from tomorrow we have rehearsals or the actual show all week until Saturday night.  Luckily, I am starting to feel better.
I have to apologise to my lovely teamies at Creative Craft, as this should have been posted before, but I just didn't have time.  Our theme is Mother's Day, and I have used doilies which came free with a magazine for the rosette and centre of the card.  The stamps are by Kaisercraft, which i stamped with Victorian velvet.
See you later.

I'm still here!

Hi all,
Firstly, I am sorry I haven't been around for nearly a week.  I have been madly busy with life.  I have loads of rehearsals for the show I am in as that starts next week, and also I have started running a craft club after school on a Wednesday and have been preparing for that.  I also had meetings for PTA and nursery things so didn't have time to stop.
I have to apologise to my teamies at CRAFT as I am VERY late with this card.  Our theme is embossing, and I have used an image by one of our sponsors, Meljen's Designs.  I have gone for a white on white Christmas card and used a snowflake embossing folder and scored lines using my scoreboard.
Hopefully I will see you tomorrow.

I'd do anything...

Hi all,
I hope you had a good weekend.  We had a wonderful time in Manchester.  We went to a surprise party on the Saturday evening and the girls spent most of the time on the dance floor.  They both finally crashed out at about eleven!  We got back Sunday afternoon and then I had the mad dash around the house trying to get everything ready for school and nursery.
Over at Incy Wincy this week, we are sponsored by Meljen's Designs, and our theme is anything but a card.  I have made a gift box for Martha.  I have used a fab dancing unicorn image as Martha loves horses (or nees (neighs) as she calls them!) and I thought a unicorn is pretty close to one.
I have used nesties for the top and base and embellishments from my stash.
See you later.

Ewe make me smile

Hi all,
We're off to Manchester this afternoon, so I have lots of packing to do and I'm sure the girls will help!
Over at CRAFT, we have a recipe for you, to use 1 circle, 2 squares, a sentiment and ribbon.  I have used an image from Pink Gem, one of our sponsors, and the papers are freebies from a magazine.  I know this is quite simple, but I completely messed up and thought there was a different theme this week and made that card.  It was only when I checked the other cards from the DT, that I realised my mistake and needed to get something made quickly.
See you later.

Brrr!

Hi all,
Well, it's half term here, so we have been seeing friends and today we met up with hubby's brother and family, who live in London but have come up to stay at hubby's parents for a few days.  We went to Bamburgh and had fun on the beach, although it was a bit chilly.  Tomorrow we are off to Manchester to see hubby's other brother and family for the weekend.
Over at Creative Craft, we have a sketch for you.  I have never made a card using just a quote or sentiment before, but I saw this one from our sponsor, Melonheadz and just love it.  The paper is both sides of a double sided paper, but I'm not sure who made it, sorry.
See you later.
