Hi all,
I have never been so glad to see the end of a week. It was my friend's funeral today, which was more of a celebration of her life really, as her children were there. There were so many people there, some had to stand outside the church and listen through speakers.

My image is from My first rainbow set, by AiFactory. I have used papers that were a magazine freebie years ago, and paper pieced the bird. The flowers are from Wild orchid and the ribbon is from my stash. Please check out the rest of the fab projects by the DT.

The funeral must have been very sad none the less Nikki:( I love your bright card though, the papers are lovely and the paper piecing is gorgeous.

What a difficult day for everyone .. .. I have thought about you, and your friend and her family a few times this week. All so very sad.

Hun I have just been catching up with your blog, I am so sorry to learn your sad news, it's heartbreaking when young children loose their mum. I'm sorry to learn that little Daisy has been so poorly too, blimey Nikki you haven't half had a tough couple of weeks hun, I'm so pleased Daisy is home and well again now
