When we were in Canberra last week, I found a fab bead shop. Amongst the beads that fell into my basket were some gorgeous blue glass flower beads. I decided to use them to make a choker style necklace and am entering it into an Oscars challenge which is being run on the Crafts Beautiful forum.

Hearts and flowers
Hi all. Here's tonight's effort. It's for the challenge over at Allsorts, which this week is hearts and flowers. I decided to try out an easel card (my first one) and just to make it easier for me (!) I cut the front out into a heart shape. Then, I used some K and Co papers to make a patchwork heart. As I don't have my sewing machine with me here (boo!), I used a pen for faux stitching. I then added flowers and some new pearls I bought with Christmas money. They will now be seen everywhere!

Another challenge
Hi,
This is a card I made for another challenge over on the crafts beautiful forum. I love this stamp that I bought a few months ago at a craft show here. I used a versamark ink pad and chalk for the image. I love the patterned paper and bought it a while ago just to look at, but thought I really should use it!

A challenge card!
Well, I promised I would get back into challenges, so this is my card for the allsorts challenge blog. This week the theme is brown and pink. I bought the stamp a while ago but mislaid it amongst my Christmas stash. Anyway, I cut out the rose from paper in the DCWV garden party stack and used other papers from the same stack.
I'm back!
Hi, I am finally back in Sydney! We were only a week late. Our original flights were cancelled because of the snow, but we're now back and recovering from jet lag. I'm hoping I'll be able to join in challenges again.
Here is a card I made this morning for a challenge on the Crafts Beautiful forum. It's for a New Year card. I saw this technique on a blog ages ago (I can't remember which blog) and decided to use it for a slightly left-field new year's card!
