Falling leaves

Hi all,
This week has gone so quickly.  Martha and I are off to meet some friends today and then tomorrow I am working and Martha is going with Daddy to get our new car.  I bet she will love that!
Over at CRAFT this week,  we are sponsored by Digital Delights, Eyecandie creations, Trimgym's digistamps and images and LEJ Designs.  Our theme is Autumn.  I have used Fall girl by Digital Delights.  The paper is by Hot off the Press and I have followed this week's sketch by Feeling Sketchy.  I would also like to saw thank you to Feeling Sketchy for choosing my vintage ladies card for the top 4.
See you later.

Splish, splash, I was taking a bath.

Hi all,
I hope you are having a good week.  Martha and I went to toddlers today and then had a play in the new cubby house.  The girls have added some furniture and belongings and spend ages there.
Over at CRAFT this week, we are sponsored by Digital Delights, Craftsuprint, Trimgym's digistamps and papers and Fantastic Ribbons.  Our theme is water, and I have used a cute whale and sentiment by Digital Delights.  The handmade paper is by Pie Lane and the other paper is by Papermania.
See you later.

Watch out Berlin!

Hi all,
It's been a gorgeous week here, weather wise. Daisy broke up for the Easter holidays today and this morning parents were invited to the Easter assembly and then the children took part in egg-rolling. I had never heard of this before, but apparently it is a tradition. Each child from each year group took it in turns to roll an egg along the ground. The aim was to reach a circular target. Daisy won the reception class competition and won a chocolate egg. She was desperate to have some when she got home from school. This will probably be my last post 'in person' for a couple of weeks, as we are travelling to Manchester on Sunday to fly to Berlin early Monday morning. Hubby's eldest brother and family live out there, so we are going to stay with them. I have a feeling that I won't get on the internet much, if at all, as we will be busy and it would be a bit rude to spend all evening on someone else's computer and ignore their company! Tomorrow night will be spent scheduling all my DT posts. Yippee!
My card is another I made last year for the competition and didn't post. The image is by Stamp Fairy, the sentiment is by Digital Delights and the papers are by First Edition.
I hope you have a lovely two weeks and I will see you later.

A late Monday post

Hi all,
Thank you so much for your lovely comments to my last post. As the title reads, this should have been posted on Monday, but Daisy was admitted to hospital on Sunday with breathing difficulties. I stayed with her and hubby looked after Martha, the house, his work (pretty amazing really!) She was discharged this afternoon and we were both desperate to get out of the four walls. Daisy has to take an inhaler every four hours, but is so much better and doesn't need extra oxygen any more.
Anyway, this week at Incy Wincy, we are sponsored by Digital Delights, who kindly gave us some images to play with. This week we would like to see Halloween projects, using the colours orange, black and purple. I have used Gillie the ghost, who looks such a sweet little fella. The papers were free digi downloads, but I can't find where from, sorry. Please check out the projects from the rest of the DT.

Once upon a fairytale

Hi all,
I am child free again today, so I want to get up to date with my DT things and then I must sort out supply teaching work (I'm not looking forward to it).
Yesterday, it was my turn to host Hostess Monday on the Digital Delights blog. I meant to post my projects here as well, but completely forgot. Anyway, better late than never! Daisy is 5 in January, but as Christmas gets in the way, I thought I would start her birthday things now. I used the castle, Princess Shona, Augustus the Dragon and Sparky the Knight from Digital Delights and made an invitation, tags for the party bags and place cards for the table. Daisy loved them, so I only have 15 more to do!

The papers are by Imaginisce. I really must get more of these, as I use them an awful lot. The ribbons and gems are from my stash.
Have a lovely day,

Beep, beep!

Hi all,
I hope you are having a good weekend. The girls are now back to normal, so we went swimming this morning and then tonight I made a lemon meringue pie for tomorrow as we have some friends coming up for lunch and it is easier to do it without the girls running around.
I made this card for my nephew's third birthday. The image is Bryce in car, by Digital Delights, and I'm not sure who made the paper, as I used scraps with no name on them. It's very simple, but the image and papers are quite busy, so I didn't think it needed anything else. Have a good rest of weekend.

We're off again!

Hi all,
I'm madly packing again as we are away for a week. Tomorrow I am off to Peterborough to a class at Sir Stampalot, and I can't wait! Then, Steve and the girls are picking me up so we can go to Hook to meet some friends from Sydney who are over here visiting family. It will be great to see them again. I can't believe that it has already been three months since we got back. On Sunday evening we are then off to Somerset to spend a week with my parents. I should still be able to get on the internet now and again to keep up with you all.
I made this card a few weeks ago and only just realised that I haven't posted it. When I started out making cards, I used to do a lot of decoupage and pyramage, but then I got hooked on stamps and find it hard to make a card without one now. However, the fabulous Wendy at Digital Delights has designed some fab pyramage and decoupage sheets. I have used Carolling Penny pyramage and kept with traditional colours. The card didn't take too long to do, but I like how it turned out and took me back to my roots! Have a wonderful weekend.

I have finally used it

Hi all,

Hopefully Mr Blogger is playing nicely as this is my first scheduled post. We will be in Norfolk, hopefully enjoying some wonderful weather this week.

Over at Incy Wincy the theme this week is something old, something new, and we are sponsored by the wonderful Digital Delights. Wendy is offering 3 digis to the lucky winner. For my card, I have used Laid back Lucy. Mmm... do you think I will have the chance to do this on our holiday? The papers are my something new, by Echo Park, and the ribbon is my something old. I have had it for years. Hop over to the challenge blog to see the rest of the projects from the DT.

Meet Barnaby

Hi all,

Well, Monday is here and nearly over for me. It has been a normal busy Monday. The girls were at kindy and I'm glad Daisy is going back tomorrow as she somehow managed to come home wearing one of their fairy dress up dresses. How I didn't notice is beyond me!
Onto a new challenge for Incy Wincy and this week we are sponsored by:

who are offering the winner 3 digi stamps. The theme this week is pastel colours and the DT were lucky enough to have a play with some Digital Delights images and I chose Barnaby Bunny. Now, I'm not a big fan of many pastel colours as I feel they can looked washed out, but I quite like this one. I put Barnaby in a frame and added some Wild Orchid flowers. Hop over to the blog to check out the fab makes from the rest of the DT.
