The jury's still out

Hi all,

I know, three cards from me in three days. What is the world coming to? We went to meet an ex work colleague of mine today who I haven't seen since we got back and spent some time in a park for the girls. It was lovely to catch up and to make the most of the sun we had.

As we are away on holiday next week in Norfolk, I thought I would try and take part in the Stamp Fairy challenge this week as I may not be doing it next week. Well, this week it is a colour challenge - purple, turquoise and pink. I'm really not sure about this mix myself, although I like the colours individually, so maybe it will grow on me. I didn't have much turquoise in my stash and so I nearly gave up, until I saw this paper by Nitwits and decided to try a Christmas card. I have used a freebie Stamp Fairy image called Oscar. I love him and chose it as it reminds me of when Daisy made a snow bunny with hubby a couple of years ago. I did think of leaving him as a polar bear, but didn't want too much white on the image. I have shaded the snow bear, but it doesn't show much on the photo. I have also added pink sparkly snowflakes from a 12 by 12 sheet. I'm sorry for all the waffle today, I'll let you go now!
I would also like to enter Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Christmas in August.

Edited to say - Oops, sorry, I had posted the wrong card. This is the correct one now!

Nikki, your card is adorable. I'm not sure this is Oscar though (there is an Oscar freebie but this looks like Lenny Christmas to me) Either way, he is just the cutest, and personally I love these colours together. In fact, I have used them a couple of times again this week after making my DT card for Stampfairy and "Catching the bug" for those colours. Your card is just so cute using them. Love the feather you've added too. Good luck in the StampFairy challenge honey.

Just seen your edit and change of piccy - therefore my last comment is now wrong so ignore the above !!! But I still have to say that I have no idea what you are talking about girl, these colours are lovely on your card. And yes, this is now indeed freebie Oscar! He's adorable on your card, and I do like your subtle shading. Love those snowflakes too honey. Yet another stunner from you. Good luck (again)!!! LOL Annette xx
