Another challenge

Hi,

This is a card I made for another challenge over on the crafts beautiful forum. I love this stamp that I bought a few months ago at a craft show here. I used a versamark ink pad and chalk for the image. I love the patterned paper and bought it a while ago just to look at, but thought I really should use it!

A challenge card!

Well, I promised I would get back into challenges, so this is my card for the allsorts challenge blog. This week the theme is brown and pink. I bought the stamp a while ago but mislaid it amongst my Christmas stash. Anyway, I cut out the rose from paper in the DCWV garden party stack and used other papers from the same stack.

Exciting and intruiging

Check out this post on Brenda's blog. It sounds fab and I can't wait to find out more.

I'm back!

Hi, I am finally back in Sydney! We were only a week late. Our original flights were cancelled because of the snow, but we're now back and recovering from jet lag. I'm hoping I'll be able to join in challenges again.

Here is a card I made this morning for a challenge on the Crafts Beautiful forum. It's for a New Year card. I saw this technique on a blog ages ago (I can't remember which blog) and decided to use it for a slightly left-field new year's card!

Happy Christmas

Hi, no cards from me yet, but just a little post to say Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all. Thank you so much for visiting me in the last couple of months and posting lovely comments. Hopefully I will be back up and crafting soon when we are back in Sydney.

We came over to Northumberland last week and are now in Somerset at my parent's house for Christmas. Then, it's back up north and to Sydney.

Take care all,

Hello!

Hi, just a quick one to say I'm sorry I haven't been around for a while, but life has been getting in the way a bit. We're off to England next Wednesday to visit friends and family for Christmas and there's a lot to do here first. Hopefully I will be able to join in some more challenges when things calm down a bit as I have missed doing them.

Crafty Catz DT call week 2

Over on the Crafty Catz challenge blog, they are asking for angels or fairies. To be in for a chance of being part of the DT, you need to enter last week's and this week's challenge. So, here is my card. The image is a sweet one I got free with a magazine a while ago and I decided to use my favourite colour, purple. I glittered the wings and used some fab sparkly purple card. The paper is from Stamp-it which I bought because it's lovely but I didn't want to cut it up and use it. I've got many papers like this, just waiting for a good idea.
